Some of those things include prior breast surgeries, healing capabilities and bleeding tendencies.
How Long Does It Take To Perform This Procedure?
This procedure is usually completed within one or two hours. It is usually performed under general anesthesia.
How Much Do Breast Implants Cost?
The cost of getting breast implants can vary greatly. The physician, your location and the type of implants that you are getting are some of the main factors affecting the cost. You can expect to pay more for breast implants in a place where the cost of living is higher. It is also important to note that breast augmentation will probably not be covered by health insurance.
What Are Some Of The Possible Risks Of Breast Implants?
This is a very safe procedure. However, no type of cosmetic surgery is completely risk-free. Breast pain, asymmetry, inflammation, wrinkling, scarring and delayed wound healing are some of the possible risks of getting breast implants. Rupture and deflation are two other possible side effects. The implants may deflate or rupture a few months after surgery. Others may deflate or rupture more than 10 years after surgery.
A small percentage of patients have a reaction to the anesthesia. Some complications may require additional surgeries.
How Long Does It Take To Recover From This Surgery?
You will need to take it easy for a few days after your surgery. You will probably be able to return to work within one week, but heavy lifting should be avoided for at least six weeks after surgery. It is normal to experience some discomfort while you are healing, but over-the-counter pain medications can help ease this discomfort.
